Company Profile

Crendon Timber Engineering was one of the pioneers of roof truss production in the UK over 40 years ago using technology developed and proven in North America. 

In the last 40 years the use of truss rafters has grown tremendously and it is estimated that they now account for 95% of roofs for the housing market with significant inroads into the commercial market.

In more recent years Crendon Timber Engineering has steadily increased it’s product range to include timber frame, metal web joists, and the full range of ILevel/Finn Forest engineered wood products. All of these can be offered on a design, supply, and fix basis. 

Crendon Timber Engineering’s main manufacturing plant is located at Long Crendon in Buckinghamshire near to the M40 offering easy access to the M25, the Midlands, and beyond. With other manufacturing plants at Dorchester, Glastonbury ,  and Castleford , Crendon Timber Engineering is able to offer a comprehensive design, supply, and erection service for timber roofs, timber frame, and floors of all types on a national basis. 

Crendon Timber Engineering has a third party assessed ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Scheme for all of it’s activities including erection. 

Crendon Timber Engineering has a third party assessed Chain of Custody under PEFC.
